Dear readers, this humble library visitors and lovers of Cuban Culture: Yet in this day have not returned empty handed, having obtained a copy of which I had heard years ago and I could find to date. is not new in itself, but looks very ineresante for l @ s @ s studies of our lyrics (which I modestly story.) Come and dig into our cultural roots ... In literature it is always good to get back to the 'origins':

Twenty years ago, José Lezama Lima and Virgilio Piñera names were almost unknown in Cuba, his works were little read and copies of his books is obtained only thanks to some friends in bookstores. The two had died reciemente. Fina García Marruz and Eliseo Diego were well appreciated as poets, maybe even too much appreciated. Cintio Vitier was authority in studies Marti, Octavio Smith was only by dint of discretion (or grayness) and Jose Rodriguez Feo, having directed and paid for the magazines' Origins' and 'Cyclone', was a post debibliotecario in the Writers' Union and Artists of Cuba. the group's work "Origins" was not as inevitable as it is done now. The two largest writers this group suffered censorship, censored encotraba also another no origins and the cultural administration imposed its literary figures. There was the second son and the false, the literature was total obedience to the policy. (Nicolás Guillén and Alejo Carpentier, doubtless leading writers and activists both Communists enjoyed a pay today for the lack of muchísiimos readers).
