The September 18, 2010 Chile will celebrate 200 years of republican life. This date marks a landmark milestone in our history: the beginning of the process that would lead us to be an independent nation.
Chile's Bicentennial is an important date, a cause for celebration that we can celebrate who we are as a nation and what we have achieved over the last two hundred years. Is a crucial moment to reflect on what we did right and what must change and improve in the next years. From this analysis, the bicentenary offers us a unique opportunity to be proud of who we are, and dream of the country we want to build for future generations.

- Saturday September 18 the President will go to a parade that will travel to Alameda. Floats from universities, will travel topics related to Santiago.
- Night: Music Gala at the National Stadium, will include several Americo and folk groups in the country. Admission will be a voluntary contribution.
