A. WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
The next project involves conducting a workshop on action drama from the creation of monologues, to be held in the Department SAN MARTIN (Mendoza), in the facilities of The Museum Vaults.
The same will last for 2 months, totaling 8 games.
Coordination of work modules will be conducted by: GUSTAVO CANO (actor and playwright); GABRIELA PSEND (actress and creator of the company's "Wheel of desires" - Theatre Argonauts) and PAUL LONGO (actor, puppeteer and playwright).
The type of workshop is unique in order to develop space for the theater as well as in unconventional spaces, in this case the museum vaults.
Registration is open to the entire community concerned, with or without experience in writing and / or theater. The cost is FREE for the workshops.
To conclude the project, plans to showcase the work that can be shared with the community, and to be drawn from the desires and needs of the audience.
B. GROUP BACKGROUND
The group began in April 2006. Its activity lies in the realization of creative writing workshops and drama techniques in Central Park Sundial Mendoza.
So far, more than 70 people joined the various stages of the workshops, from different areas, such such as graphic artists, visual artists, poets, actors, set designers, journalism students and housewives. Many of whom wrote works and still do in the Mendoza and national theatrical activity.
In 2008, the group reorganized around the project of National Endowment for the Arts, which won.
This workshop methodology, called the attention of artists from Latin America, to the point that the group was convened in May 2009, to attend the International Seminar on Drama in the framework of the Festival of Sacred Drama of the Thebaid, in Quindio, Colombia, in the form of lecture-conference away. Being invited to participate in person in 2010.
